Dear Industry Partner,
It is with great pleasure that we would like to invite you and your company to be part of the 2021 Industrial Engineering final year projects, at the North-West University.
Should you be interested to provide project(s) for next year's students, please make use of the following link for capturing the necessary information:
Project definitions should be completed via Google Forms (see the link above) by no later than 13 November 2020. The students will then work through all the project definitions and decide on which projects they are interested in. On the 20th of November we will provide them with an opportunity to discuss any uncertainties with the industry partners.
We would therefore appreciate it if you could keep the morning of the 20th of November open for a virtual session to present your projects and participate in a Q&A session. Final arrangement of the exact time of your presentation will be confirmed at a later stage.
We would like to draw your attention to two issues:
- As part of the initial project phase we prefer that our students do vacation work at the company where they plan on doing their final year project. This will take place over the December/January holidays of 2020/2021 for a 2-6 week period. Please advise us if this is not possible in order for us to make alternative arrangements.
- The final allocation of the final year projects is mainly based on the student's preference.
