Welcome to the North-West University Engineering Research Ethics Committee (NWU-ENG-REC). The purpose of this Committe is to provide operational management of the research ethics process within the Faculty of Engineering.

Ethics approval must be obtained for all research proposals before a research study commences. The NWU-ENG-REC will not consider research studies for approval if it is apparent that the research has already been conducted (retrospective)^*.

This site provides acces to meeting schedules, committee documents, member lists, terms of references, SOP and flow charts.
